St. Luke's International Hospital Branch Clinic, St. Luke's MediLocus

About MediLocus

At this clinic we specialize in
primary care and preventive medicine
building on the proud tradition of
St. Luke’s International Hospital.

"Tradition × Creation"
New location, new St. Luke’s

Since St. Luke’s International Hospital’s founding in 1901, it has continually evolved and developed to provide optimal medical care services while remaining highly sensitive to changes in society and the environment as well as the diversification of healthcare needs under the belief of Christian love. We believe in respect for patients and healthcare based on physical and mental support of patients and a team approach, which has now spread throughout the nation as the standard of medical and nursing care.

In 1954, St. Luke’s International Hospital also led the movement towards comprehensive health screenings in Japan, an innovative foresight that has been instrumental to establish the practice of preventive medicine in our society.

Then, in 2012, St. Luke’s MediLocus opened its doors in Otemachi 1-chome. Otemachi, Japan’s financial hub originating in Ginza since the Edo era, is a place not only with its side as a global business district, but also one plentiful in historical architecture and art. For all those who visit this robust area, with St. Luke’s International Hospital as a powerful ally in support, we offer quality primary care and reliable preventive medicine.

St. Luke’s MediLocus was established in October 2012 as a primary care and preventive medicine clinic embracing St. Luke’s tradition. In this fast-developing financial district of Otemachi, we provide outpatient consultations, health checkups, and diagnostic tests which are also available for referred patients. Moreover, MediLocus Club offers membership health support in a relaxing environment, strengthening our aim of serving as a dependable healthcare provider.

The specialists at MediLocus are here to serve patients with general as well as specialized needs in the fields of general internal medicine, cardiology, gastroenterology, pulmonary medicine, psychosomatic medicine, neurology, women’s health, breast surgery, and dermatology. Our clinic collaborates closely with St. Luke’s International Hospital where more advanced tests, treatment, and emergency care are available for our patients. We also take pride in our line-up of the most advanced diagnostic imaging equipment for ultrasound, CT, MRI, PET-CT, and endoscopy which are used for health checkups, diagnostic workups, and tests requested by other medical institutions. The images are interpreted by highly trained in-house radiologists and endoscopy specialists and reported to the physician in charge.

Besides such outpatient consultations, you can take advantage of our women’s health checkup as well as highly specialized PET-CT screening which is useful for the early detection of cancer.

Finally, by becoming a member of MediLocus Club, you will receive comprehensive health screening along with a health management plan including medical care and fitness exercise program. We provide optimal health support on an individual basis taking your physical condition and lifestyle into consideration. In case the results of the health screening indicate the need for more specialized tests or treatment, prompt follow-up at our clinic or referral to St. Luke’s International Hospital or other appropriate medical institutions are available.

We are dedicated and look forward to providing safe and accurate medical care to support your health here at MediLocus.
